UNIFIED MISSIONS FUND

WHAT IS THE UNIFIED MISSIONS FUND?

The Unified Missions Fund (UMF) is the financial collaborative effort of our church to fund the work of our mission partners and to support our mission strategy. This is a separate fund from the general church budget. All contributions made to the UMF go directly to our church’s missions efforts.

WHY SHOULD I GIVE TO UMF?

Pooling our missions dollars allows us to invest deeply in the work among partners with whom we have long time working relations with, and so have clear direction as to where best to invest funds. It allows us to leverage gathered dollars and have a deeper impact. Our missions team comprised of staff and lay leaders gathers on a regular basis to plan and oversee the mission strategy of our church and the funding for that strategy. This team is very aware of the great responsibility that has been entrusted to us as stewards of the missions offering to fund our projects.

HOW DO I GIVE TO UMF?

Today, you will receive a pledge card for the Unified Missions Fund. We ask that you please pray with your family about how God would have you support our Acts 1:8 Mission Strategy Effort. Today, Sunday February 25th, during all morning services, you will turn in your pledge card as a part of our 2018-2019 Unified Mission Fund Pledge.

All offering envelopes are labeled with a line that designates a portion of your financial contribution to the church. Simply fill out the amount you want to give and drop it in the offering plate any Sunday morning. You can also contribute online through our church website, www.missionhillchurch.com. Click the giving tab, follow the links, and be sure to choose the fund “Unified Missions” when giving. Finally, you can give in our church app as well.
